SENTINEL source guide tubes and stops

Source guide tubes are flexible stainless steel tubes with a protective polyvinyl covering and are available to fit 660,741,680 and 676 series projector units.
The 676 requires a large daimeter guide tube when used with a 300Ci/13.9 TBq source.
Intermediate and termination source tubes are available which are interconnectable to provide the required length.
The intermediate section tube has a male connector at one end and a female connector at the other and can used with a disconnectable source stop as a guide tube termination.

In certain countries one piece guide tubes are required.
These fit all projectors.

SENTINEL source positioning kit

It is recommended that the source stop can held in position with tube source positioning kit, code TAN4021. The kit comprises a tripod stand, adjustable clamp and clamp holder.

SENTINEL pipe centering devices

These devices are designed to hold a radiography source in the center pipes or other cylindrical vessels and are especially useful where 360° circumferential radiograghs are needed.
Spring loaded wheel and slide types are available to maintain the source stop in the center of the pipe and yet pass freely over the welds. Used with rigid source tubes the devices can be pushed easily along distances up to the limit of source projector. They are available with threaded fittings on both ends compatible with the guide tubes or standard male thread at one end and integral source stop on the other . The standard length is 2.1m(7ft").
Other lengths are available on special order.
Sizes are available to suit a range of inside diameters of pipes.
Custom devices can designed on request.

SENTINEL jet engine probe kit,
code TAN727

This probe is designed specially for internal radiography of JT3-D turbine engines.
The kit comprises:

• a stainless steel probe,

  Body diameter:15.9mm(5/8in)
  Tip diameter:11.1mm(7/16in)
• an alluminium support plate with two secured bolts.
• a 90° stainless steel elbow attachment,designed to avoid sharp bends in the connecting source guide tube.
